2011 (Freshman)
Jay Kilpatrick competed in four meets during the indoor track and field season... posted a season-best 15-1 3/4 at both the Frank Sevigne Invitational and the Nebraska Tune-Up, finishing third at the Nebraska-Tune-Up... competed in three meets during the outdoor track and field season... hit a personal best of 16-0 3/4 at the Kansas Relays to finish in 10th place.

2010 (Reshirt)
Kilpatrick redshirted his first year at Nebraska, but did compete unattached... set an indoor personal best at the Holiday Inn Invitational with a vault of 15-1... opened the outdoor season with a mark of 14-2... bounced back with a then-personal-best leap of 15-8 1/2 at the Nebraska Open.

Before Nebraska (East HS) 
Kilpatrick qualified for the Nebraska state meet in Class A as a sophomore, junior and senior under Coach Chris Johnson... won the All-Class gold medal in 2009 with a personal-best vault of 15-4, marking the seventh straight year that a Husker recruit has won the All-Class medal... placed third in 2008 with a jump of 14-6... vaulted 15-3 at the 2009 USATF National Junior Olympics in Greensboro, N.C., to finish second... member of the National Honor Society... chose Nebraska over Michigan and Illinois.
