Destiny Brown redshirted both the indoor and outdoor season in his first year at Nebraska.
 

High School (Lincoln Southwest) 
Brown enrolled at Nebraska after finishing second in both the long jump and triple jump at the 2007 Texas Class A state track meet under Coach Nicole Kubik... her 17-9 1/4 long jump at the state meet was her personal best... also owns the Lincoln Southwest High School record in both events.
