2019-20 (Outlook)
Allison Kopas heads into her junior year after a productive sophomore campaign that featured five top-five finishes. She set multiple career bests and will work for more in 2019-20. A talented and versatile swimmer, Kopas expects to compete in freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and IM.

2018-19 (Sophomore)
Kopas enjoyed a stellar sophomore season in the pool for the Huskers. She earned five top-five finishes and competed in several new events, setting career marks at the Hawkeye Invite in the 100 free (52.02, 25th) and 200 back (2:02.54, 13th). Kopas also competed in the 100 breast for the first time against Rutgers, finishing with a career-best time of 1:11.28. Against Iowa State she swam her first 200 free, finishing in 1:58.09. Competing at USA Swimming Winter Nationals, she finished eighth in the C Final of the 200 IM and swam in the prelims of the 400 IM. Kopas finished 33rd in the 400 IM, 40th in the 200 IM and 42nd in the 200 fly at the Big Ten Championships. Outside the water, Kopas earned academic All-Big Ten honors and claimed two spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She also was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the second time.

2017-18 (Freshman)
Kopas stepped in and produced immediately for the Huskers in 2017-18. She claimed 14 top-five finishes in her debut season, including individual and relay events. Kopas set then-personal-best times in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.58), 200-yard IM (2:01.05) and 400-yard IM (4:18.01) at the 2017 Mizzou Invite. Kopas also competed in the 800-yard freestyle relay (Autumn Haebig, Allie Worrall, Savannah Savitt, Kopas), earning a second-place finish (7:23.11). At the 2018 Big Ten Championships, Kopas competed in the 400 IM (23rd), 200 Fly (41st) and 200 IM (55th). Kopas was a member of the 2018 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Previous
Senior Swimmer of the Year. She was also a member of National Honor Society.SFTL team records. The three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American was also named the SFTL set multiple Kopas was also crowned the 2014-2017 Florida Gold Coast Senior State Champion in multiple events. Kopas was a qualifier at 2016 U.S. Nationals and Junior Nationals. Kopas most valuable swimmer for three years and received the NSU University School Athletic Leadership Award. While competing for Swim Fort Lauderdale, NSU’s was Kopas joined the Husker swimming and diving team after a solid career for NSU University School swim team, where she set five individual records. , Allison was born Aug. 28, 1998, in Plantation, Fla. She has an older sister, Emily, and a younger sister, Amanda. Allison is an elementary education/special education K-6 major and earned academic All-Big Ten honors in 2019. She is a two-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. She was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2018 and 2019. She chose Nebraska over Purdue, Rutgers and Miami.KopasThe daughter of Bil and Robin
