2015-16 (Senior)
Jacqueline Juffer concluded a solid Nebraska career with a strong senior season in 2015-16. She produced 12 top-five finishes as senior, including two victories in the 100-yard backstroke. She competed in the Big Challenge Meet where she set two career bests in the 100-yard backstroke (54.89) and the 200-yard individual medley (1:00.15). Juffer competed in three individual events at the 2016 Big Ten Championships. She finished 46th (56.92) in the 100-yard backstroke, 54th (2:09.25) in the 200 back and 80th (24.27) in the 50-yard freestyle. She also swam the opening leg on Nebraska's 200-yard medley relay team. The senior continued to succeed in the classroom, earning academic All-Big Ten honors for the third consecutive year. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the third time.

2014-15 (Junior)
Juffer was one of Nebraska’s top performers in the backstroke events in 2014-15. During her junior year, Juffer totalled 10 top-five finishes, including a victory in the 100-yard backstroke against South Dakota State. Juffer had a strong Big Ten Championships, setting career bests in the 50-yard freestyle (23.41) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.86). Juffer also improved a whopping 30 spots in the 50-yard freestyle to finish 49th as a junior after settling for 79th as a sophomore. Juffer continued to star in the classroom, earning academic All-Big Ten honors in 2015.

2013-14 (Sophomore)
In her second year as a Husker, Juffer compiled eight top-five finishes, including four victories. Juffer had a strong showing against Northern Iowa, placing first in the 50-yard backstroke (27.22) and the 100-yard backstroke (59.98). She set four career bests in her sophomore season, two of those coming at the Big Ten Championships. Juffer set personal bests in the 50-yard freestyle (24.17) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.03). Juffer also found success in the classroom, claiming academic All-Big Ten honors in 2014.

2012-13 (Freshman)
Juffer made her Husker debut in 2012-13, competing five times as a freshman. She swam the 100-yard backstroke three times on the season, including a personal-best 58.07 at the GNST SWIMvite. Additionally, Juffer swam times of 25.50 in the 50-yard freestyle (Short Course Championships) and 2:09.56 in the 200-yard backstroke (GNST SWIMvite). Juffer also starred in the classroom, earning spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13.

Previous
Juffer won 13 medals over a three-year span at the AAU National Championships. In summer league swimming, she collected 26 medals in six years, including 21 victories. She also put together an impressive streak of five straight years without a defeat in her age group’s championship meets. Although her high school did not offer a swimming program, Juffer lettered in both volleyball and golf at Wagner High School. She was also an honor roll student and a National Honor Society member at Wagner.

Personal
The daughter of Gerrit and Michele Juffer, Jacqueline was born June 29, 1994, in Wagner, S.D. She has two sisters, Kathleen and Sidney. An economics and political science major, Jacqueline earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2016. She was a three-time academic All-Big Ten selection and claimed four spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She was also a three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team, and captured a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2015.
