2015-16 (Senior)
Bria Deveaux finished her Nebraska career with a solid senior season by capturing 18 top-five finishes, including five second-place showings. Deveaux broke three individual records in 2015-16, with a pair of those coming at the 2016 Big Ten Championships. Deveaux finished 37th with a time of 50.84 in the 100-yard freestyle at the conference championships. She added a career-best 100 butterfly time of 53.96 in the prelims at the Big Ten meet. The senior also swam a career best in the Big Challenge, taking fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.17. In the classroom, Deveaux earned academic All-Big Ten honors for the third straight season. In the community, she was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for her third consecutive year.

2014-15 (Junior)
Deveaux’s junior season was her strongest as a Husker, notching 18 top-five finishes, including three victories. Deveaux set then-career bests in the 50-yard freestyle (23.33, Big Ten Championships), 100-yard freestyle (50.94, Big Ten Championships) and the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:53.38 (Mizzou Invite). Deveaux’s top finish at the Big Ten Championships came in the 100-yard butterfly, where she captured 20th. Also a star in the classroom, Deveaux earned academic All-Big Ten recognition in 2015.

2013-14 (Sophomore)
After a strong freshman year, Deveaux continued to perform at a high level as a sophomore. Deveaux competed in five events for the Huskers, amassing 15 top-five finishes, including two victories. She set three career bests in her second season, two of those coming at the Big Ten Championships. Deveaux set then-personal records of 23.45 in the 50-yard freestyle (Big Ten Championships), 50.99 in the 100 yard-freestyle (Hawkeye Invite), and 54.42 in the 100-yard butterfly (Big Ten Championships). Deveaux saw success in the classroom as well, earning academic All-Big Ten honors in 2014.

2012-13 (Freshman)
Deveaux stepped in and produced immediately for the Huskers in 2012-13. The freshman from the Bahamas recorded 10 top-five finishes in her debut season, including a victory against South Dakota State in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.15). Deveaux set then-personal-best times in the 100-yard freestyle (51.06), 100-yard backstroke (56.85) and 100-yard butterfly (54.91) at the 2013 Big Ten Championships to conclude a solid freshman campaign.

Previous
Deveaux was a four-time high school All-American and a relay national champion at Baylor Boarding School in Chattanooga, Tenn. She helped her team to state championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and she contributed to national championships in 2011 and 2012. Deveaux was also a member of the Barracuda Swim Club.

Personal
The daughter of Hillary and Sheena Deveaux, Bria was born on June 7, 1994, in Nassau, Bahamas. She has three sisters, Kiesha, Nikia and Ravyn, and one brother, Kieran. Bria was a marketing and finance major, earning her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2016. She claimed academic All-Big Ten honors in 2014, 2015 and 2016. She was a six-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She was a three-time selection to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
