2015-16 (Freshman)
Anna Howorth made her debut as a Husker in 2015-16, competing in both the one-meter and three-meter dives. In Nebraska's season-opening dual against Arkansas, Howarth finished seventh in the three meter (229.88), while adding a 10th-place finish in the one meter (212.17). Along with her performance in the diving well, Howorth earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2015-16. She was also a member of the 2016 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Previous
Howorth came to Nebraska after earning a state championship in 2014. Howorth also earned second- and fourth-place finishes at the Nebraska State Championships. She captured All-America honors three times. While competing for the Nebraska Dive Club, Howorth placed in the top 10 at the 2014 USA Diving Summer Junior Zone C Championships in the three-meter and platform dives. Howorth was also a two-time academic All-American, a member of the Elkhorn South Honor Roll and a member of National Honor Society.

Personal
The daughter of Deb Howorth, Anna was born March 13, 1997, in Omaha, Neb. She has an older sister, Elizabeth. Anna is a biological sciences major. She is a seven-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She was also a three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. Anna chose Nebraska over Illinois.
