2014-15 (Senior)
Kelly Dunn concluded an outstanding Husker career with a stellar senior season.  She notched 13 top-five finishes, bringing her career total to 48.  Dunn earned a victory against South Dakota State in the 50-yard freestyle, racing to a time of 25.18. At the 2015 Big Ten Championships, Dunn swam a career-best time of 2:03.87 in the 200-yard IM.  

2013-14 (Junior)
Dunn returned to the pool with the Husker swim team for her junior season and competed in seven events. Dunn produced six top-five finishes, including two wins. The Chicago native notched a win and set a career best in the 100-yard butterfly against Northern Iowa, swimming to a time of 59.63. Dunn set a second career best in the 200-yard IM, racing to a time of 2:04.59 at the Big Ten Championships. A standout in the classroom, Dunn earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the second time.

2012-13 (Sophomore)
Dunn continued to produce in 2012-13, notching 15 top-five finishes across five events on the season. She picked up a victory against Nebraska-Omaha when she swam the 100-yard freestyle in 53.12. On the same day, Dunn also finished second in the 200-yard freestyle against the Mavericks. However, her best meet of the year came at the Iowa Invitational in December, when she set season-best times in the 50- (23.94), 100- (51.52), and 200-yard (1:51.10) freestyles. Dunn also starred in the classroom, earning Academic All-Big Ten accolades along with spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. For her community outreach efforts, Dunn also received a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2013.

2011-12 (Freshman)
Dunn stepped in for the Huskers and immediately proved herself at the collegiate level during her freshman year. She competed in seven events for the Huskers during the season, tallying 14 top-five finishes. Dunn’s top performance came at the Big Ten Championships where she set three career-best times. The freestyle specialist set career bests in the 50- (23.77), 100- (50.82) and 200-yard freestyle (1:49.40) events at the championships. In the classroom, Dunn earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2011.

Previous
A freestyle and backstroke specialist, Dunn helped West Chicago High School to a 13th-place finish at the 2010 Illinois State Championships. She finished fifth in the 200-yard freestyle and added a sixth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Dunn also swam a leg in West Chicago’s 200-yard freestyle relay.

Personal
The daughter of Fred and Terry Dunn, Kelly was born June 8, 1993. A marketing and spanish major, Kelly earned Academic All-Big Ten selections in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She is also a seven-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She earned a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2013 and claimed spots on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2014, 2015 and 2016 for her commitment to community service.
