2014-15 (Outlook)
Ciara Jenkins enters her senior campaign looking to contribute even more for the Huskers. As a junior, Jenkins set two career bests and hopes to set even more in her last year at Nebraska. Jenkins has high hopes for building off her experience and finding even more success this season.

2013-14 (Junior)
Jenkins continued to show improvement in her junior season, while competing in six events for the Huskers. The Mesa, Ariz., native set career-best times of 1:05.36 in the 100-yard butterfly against South Dakota State and Iowa and 2:16.06 in the 200-yard individual medley at the Hawkeye Invite. Jenkins continued to star in the classroom, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors for a second year straight. She was also named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

2012-13 (Sophomore)
Jenkins continued to provide depth in the breaststroke events in 2012-13, competing 12 times for the Huskers. She set season-best times of 1:10.31 in the 100-yard breaststroke against Nebraska-Omaha and 2:31.72 in the 200-yard breaststroke against San Diego State. In addition, Jenkins swam a career-best 28.80 in the 50-yard freestyle against Northern Iowa. Jenkins also found success in the classroom, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2013, while claiming spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.

2011-12 (Freshman)
A breaststroke specialist, Jenkins competed in four events for the Huskers during her freshman season. Jenkins finished strong, setting three then-career-best times at the 2012 Big Ten Championships in February. Jenkins raced to times of 1:07.41 in the 100-yard breaststroke, 2:27.26 in the 200-yard breaststroke and 2:22.09 in the 200-yard individual medley. Overall, she earned three top-five finishes during the season.

Previous
Jenkins earned honorable-mention All-Tribune selection in the 100-yard breaststroke in 2010. She finished third in the event at the Arizona long course championships and fourth at the short course senior state championships in 2010. The three-event swimmer also competed in the 200- and 400-yard individual medleys. Jenkins was honored as a Scholastic All-American at Mesa High School.

Personal
The daughter of Juliana Link and James Jenkins, Ciara was born on May 26, 1993. She is majoring in pre-elementary education and mild/moderate disabilities education. An Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2013, 2014 and 2015, Ciara was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in 2014 and 2015. She also claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in each of her last six semesters. Jenkins captured a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2015. She also earned recognition on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2014 in 2015, and was Nebraska's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner for women's swimming and diving in 2015.
