2012-13 (Senior)
Amy Herman saved her best for last, having her most productive year in her final season as a Husker. Herman recorded three wins in the one-meter dive (Nebraska-Omaha, San Diego State, Illinois) and one win in the three-meter dive (Illinois) on the season, marking the first four wins of her career. Her victory against San Diego State in the one-meter dive came with a career-best score of 296.32 in the event. Herman also set career-best scores in the three-meter and platform dives, finishing fourth and second, respectively, at the Iowa Invitational in December. Overall, Herman produced 14 top-five finishes in her senior campaign, boosting her career total to 44.

In the classroom, Herman was selected to her second academic All-Big Ten team in 2013, while also being named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. The selection marked her third academic all-conference honor. She also earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both semesters.

2011-12 (Junior)
Herman dove her way to a successful junior season, finishing in the top five once in both the one-meter dive (South Dakota State) and the platform dive (Iowa Invitational). Herman's platform dive of 264.95 was a career best, surpassing her previous best of 261.15.

The Lincoln, Neb., native continued to perform well in the classroom, earning spots on the academic All-Big Ten team and the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2012.

2010-11 (Sophomore)
Herman completed a successful sophomore season for the Huskers in 2010-11. Her 10 top-five finishes showed her versatility in NU's diving events. Herman finished 15th or better in every competition during the season, including second-place showings in the one-meter and three-meter dive events. The Lincoln Southwest graduate set two career-best scores on the year, including 267.60 in the one meter and 246.10 on the platform.

Herman also starred in the classroom, claiming first-team academic All-Big 12 honors and spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.

2009-10 (Freshman)
Herman made an instant impact on the NU diving team with 18 top-five finishes in her freshman campaign. Herman finished among the top seven in every event during the regular season and performed well at the 2010 Big 12 Championships. Her effort at the conference championships was highlighted by a 12th-place finish on the platform. She recorded NU's top score on the platform during the season, the Huskers' No. 2 score on the three meter, and the No. 3 mark on the one meter.

Previous
Herman produced an outstanding diving career at Lincoln Southwest High School, where she finished with multiple school records. Herman was a three-time top-10 finisher at the state meet, including a second-place finish as a senior in 2009. She was honored with an All-America award in diving her senior year. Herman was a member of the National Honor Society and was on the honor roll seven of her eight semesters in high school. She graduated in the top five percent of her high school class and was named to the academic all-state team. Amy was also named an LPS Scholar Athlete.

Personal
The daughter of Matt and Lynne Herman, Amy was born on Oct. 5, 1991, in Lincoln, Neb. A nutrition, exercise and health science and dietetics major with a minor in business, Herman earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2014. An academic All-Big Ten selection in 2012 and 2013, she a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award in 2013, Herman claimed first-team academic All-Big 12 honors in 2011. She was chosen to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2012 and 2013, and the spring semesters of 2012, 2013 and 2014. She was a four-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. She was also an inaugural member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2014,
