2011-12 (Senior)
Bobbi Balogh (pronounced BAY-log) capped her senior season by earning academic All-Big Ten honors for the Huskers. Balogh also excelled in the pool, finishing in the top-seven in the 200-yard butterfly four times, including a third-place finish against UNO.

The senior from Lincoln, Neb, also earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2011-12.

2010-11 (Junior)
Balogh capped a successful junior season by setting two career bests. At the 2011 Big 12 Championships, Balogh blew through the pool in the 400 IM, clocking a 4:48.03 to finish 24th. She added a personal best at the Missouri Invitational in December, swimming the 1,650 freestyle in 18:02.56. The Lincoln Southeast graduate was also a standout in the classroom, earning spots on both the first-team academic All-Big 12 team and both the 2010 fall and 2011 spring Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2009-10 (Sophomore)
Balogh continued her progress as a sophomore, setting three personal-best times. She established a personal best in the 100-yard freestyle, 400-yard individual medley and the 500-yard freestyle. Her top performances in the 100 free and 400 IM came at the 2010 Big 12 Championships. Balogh notched the fifth-best time on the team in the 1,650 freestyle.

In the classroom, Balogh earned first-team academic All-Big 12 honors and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2009-10.

2008-09 (Freshman)
Balogh produced a solid freshman campaign for NU, competing well and improving throughout the season in the distance freestyle and individual medley events. Balogh's best meet came against Nebraska-Omaha, when she finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle and third in the 500-yard freestyle to help the Huskers to a 219-78 victory. Balogh finished the season by setting four career-best times at the Big 12 Championships, including a 19th-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle.

She earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2008-09.

Previous
Balogh was a first-team all-state and all-conference selection four times, including three seasons at Monroe High School in Monroe, Mich., and one season at Lincoln Southeast High School. Balogh was also part of Monroe's All-American 4x100 freestyle relay team. She had five top-eight finishes at the state meet throughout her career. Balogh graduated from Southeast with a perfect 4.0 GPA, was in the top three percent of her class, and was a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal
Bobbi was born on July 10, 1990, in Wayne, Mich. She is the daughter of Louie and Norma Balogh, and has two sisters, Brooke and Blake, and three brothers, Brad, Brennan and Bennett. Bobbi majored in biological systems engineering and earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2012. She captured academic All-Big Ten honors in 2012. She was also a first-team academic All-Big 12 selection in 2010 and 2011. A Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection in the fall of 2011 and 2012, and the spring semester of 2012, Balogh was a six-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
