2009-10 (Senior)
Dean capped off her Husker career as her senior season saw 15 top-five finishes including five first place finishes along with four second place finishes. She raced her career best in the 50 free with a time of 23.87 at the Missouri Invite on Dec. 6 in Columbia, Mo. Dean also saw a career best in the 100-free on Nov. 22 at the Husker Invite. Hailey finishes with some of the top five times in the 50 free, 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM in Nebraska history.

2008-09 (Junior)
Dean was once again one of Nebraska's most consistent swimmers, following a great sophomore season with an equally impressive junior season in 2008-09. Dean had 16 top-five and two first-place finishes on the season, and ranked among the top five NU times in the 50 free, 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM. Dean made it to the championship finals in the 100 breast at the 2009 Big 12 Championships, where she finished in eighth place with a career-best time of 1:02.76, which was good enough for sixth on the Nebraska all-time list. Dean had wins in the 100 breast against Missouri and 25 breast against Nebraska-Omaha.

2007-08 (Sophomore)
Dean was one of Nebraska's top swimmers in her sophomore season, finishing the year with 18 top-five and four first-place finishes. Dean excelled in the breaststroke, capping the year with a seventh-place finish at the Big 12 Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke. Dean also had the fastest time on the team last season in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.39). Dean was a staple in the 200-yard IM throughout her sophomore season.

2006-07 (Freshman)
Dean won the consolation final of the 100-yard breaststroke at the Big 12 Championships to finish ninth overall, while her team-leading time of 1:03.93 would have placed her seventh in the championship final. The postseason success came after a strong regular season that saw Dean win three races in her first year of collegiate swimming (one each in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke). The first win of her career came in the 100-yard breaststroke in the Huskers' win over Arkansas on Oct. 28. Aside from NU's fastest time in the 100-yard breaststroke, Dean was second on the team in the 200-yard breaststroke when she swam a time of 2:22.34 to place 12th at the conference meet. She was third among NU swimmers in the 200-yard individual medley (2:06.37).
