2007-08 Season Outlook<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
Adrienne Goodman has held at least a top-three fastest time in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke every season during her three-year career with the Huskers. She was a strong performer out of the gate as a freshman and has collected six top-15 finishes at the conference meet during her career. Goodman owns four career top-12 finishes at the Big 12 Championships and hopes to add to that total as a senior.

2006-07 (Junior)
Goodman kept a streak of top-15 finishes alive by placing 12th in the 100- and 15th in the 200-yard breaststroke at the 2007 Big 12 Championships. After setting a then regular-season best time of 1:05.75 in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Minnesota Invite, Goodman lowered the time to 1:04.92 at the conference meet, giving the Huskers three scorers in the event. She set a season-best time of 2:23.31 in the 200-yard breaststroke that would not be broken the rest of the season. The mark was third on the team during the season, as was her 100-yard breaststroke time. In 16 breaststroke events in dual-meet action, Goodman finished in the top five an impressive 13 times, including the top four on 10 occasions. She also swam in the 200-yard individual medley in five regular-season meets before finishing 22nd at the Big 12 Championships.

2005-06 (Sophomore)
In breaststroke events, Goodman placed in the top five a combined seven times. She established herself as the team's second-leading breaststroker in both the 100- and 200-yard events. She took that talent into the Big 12 Championships, where she nearly qualified for the finals of the 100-yard breaststoke, but fell just short and finished 11th overall. In the 200-breaststroke, Goodman finished 13th and set a new career-best in the preliminary race with a time of 2:21.10. She competed in the 200-yard IM, placing 22nd overall at the Minnesota Invitational, and competed in the 50-yard freestyle three times, including at the conference meet.

2004-05 (Freshman)
Goodman was a leader in the breaststroke events for the Huskers during her first year at <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Nebraska. Goodman had a solid Big 12 meet, setting season bests in every event she competed, while placing 10th in both the 100- (1:04.09) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.11). Those times ranked her second on the team in both events. Goodman’s highest placing of the season was a third-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke at IowaState. The Ballwin, Mo., native collected a combined 17 top-10 finishes on the year.

Previous
Goodman was a two-time state qualifier at LafayetteHigh School. She was part of the the state record-setting 200-yard medley relay team her senior year. Goodman placed fourth in the breaststroke and fifth in the 200-yard IM her senior year at state. Her team won four consecutive state titles.

Personal
Adrienne was born in Ballwin, Mo., on June 6, 1986. She is the daughter of Dennis and Karene Goodman. Adrienne is majoring in business administration.
