2005-06 Season Outlook<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>
After one year off, Abby Fitzpatrick returned to form as a sophomore and looks to improve on her marks this season. She nearly set a career best on the one meter at <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>IowaState, and will add depth to a talented diving squad.
2004-05 (Sophomore)
Fitzpatrick rejoined the diving squad as a sophomore and contributed in the one- and three-meter diving competitions. Fitzpatrick placed in the top five three times and in the top 10 on six occasions.
2003-04
Fitzpatrick did not compete for the diving team during her second year at Nebraska.
2002-03 (Freshman)
Fitzpatrick did not compete in 2003-04, after contributing as a true freshman in 2002-03. She set personal bests of the one-meter (211.04) and three-meter (226.20) boards against Nevada.
Previous
Fitzpatrick earned all-state honors after taking fourth on the three-meter springboard as a senior at the Minnesota State Championships.
Personal
The daughter of Dennis and Kathy Fitzpatrick, Abby was born May 22, 1984, in Bloomington, Minn., and has a sister, Amy. Abby is a criminal justice and pre-law major.
