2004-05 Season Outlook<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Julie McCauley will continue to put points on the board for the Huskers this season as she had six individual wins during a great freshman season.  McCauley will aim at the NCAA Championships.

 

2003-04 (Freshman)

McCauley opened her freshman season with a pair of wins against Southern Illinois in the first dual meet of the season in middle-distance freestyle events.  She picked up another pair of wins against SW Missouri State in the second dual meet of the year in the 100 (52.52) and 200-yard (1:53.12) freestyle events...also picked up a win against No. 23 Missouri in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.21) and another against Truman State, also in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.31)...also swam the 200-yard freestyle at the Minnesota Invitational, helping NU to its fourth-place finish by placing second in a time of 1:52.53, a season-best mark.

 

Previous

McCauley captained the 2003 Tualatin High team under Coach Jeanine Serrano...four-time team MVP and two-time high school All-American as well as a state champion in the 200-yard free...ranked among the top four in the state in the 200-yard free and 100-yard fly all four years of high school.

 

Personal

Julie was born on <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>March 29, 1985, in Modesto, Calif., and is the daughter of Christi and Anthony McCauley...she has two sisters, Michelle and Sarah, and one brother, David.
