2004-05 Season Outlook
After ranking as one of NU's best middle-distance freestylers last season, junior Emily Becker will help further solidify freestyle events for the Huskers this season.
2003-04 (Sophomore)
Solid performer for the Huskers in middle-distance freestyle events...picked up two second-place finishes against Southern Illinois and Nebraska-Omaha in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle events.
2002-03 (Freshman)
Becker was a solid contributor for the Huskers in the freestyle events...swam the second-best time on the team all season in the 200-yard free at the Big 12 meet (1:55.15), placing 22nd overall...also placed 24th in the 500-yard free at the Big 12 Championships (5:06.61)...top regular-season finish came at Northern Arizona where she placed third in the 200-yard free (2:00.16).

Becker was a two-time high school scholastic All-American at Bakersfield High School...swam for Coach Sage Hopkins...Valley champion in the 500-yard free in 2000.

Emily is the daughter of Theresa and Robert Becker and was born on Feb. 29, 1984 in Denver...has one sister, Erica, and one brother, Jack...major: veterinary science.
