2003-04 Season Outlook<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Katrina Sandeberg (Pronounced: SAN-duh-berg) provided excellent depth in multiple events last season for the Huskers. After a solid off-season, Sandeberg looks to improve her times across the board this season

 

2002-03 (Freshman)

Sandeberg took third in both the 100- (1:09.85) and 200-yard (2:31.58) breast events versus Truman State...took 18th in the 100-yard breast at the Big 12 meet (1:06.08) and 19th in the 200-yard breast (2:24.13)...placed third on NU's season charts in the 50-yard free (24.61)...placed fourth on the season charts in the 100-yard breast (1:06.08) and second on the season charts in the 200-yard breast (2:24.13).

 

Previous

Sandeberg helped Burnsville to a second-place finish at the 2002 Minnesota State Championships...earned all-state and high school All-America honors...took first in all four of her events at the sectional meet...was Burnsville's MVP and team captain as a senior...swam a leg of school record-setting 200-yard free relay...swam for Jeff Marshal at Burnsville High School...also swam for the Burnsville Swim Club and head coach Rockey O'Neill.

Katrina was born on <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>March 28, 1984, in Coon Rapids, Minn., and is the daughter of Beth and Guy Sandeberg...has one sister, April, and one brother, Matthew.
