2002-03 Season Outlook
A freshman from Portland, Ore., Danielle Erickson will bolster the Husker backstrokers this season. Erickson was a Junior National finalist in the both the 100- and 200-yard backstroke events. The coaching staff feels that Erickson could step in immediately and compete in the Big 12 in the backstroke events.

Erickson swam for Coach Paul Bergen and Tualatin Hills Swim Club in Portland...finished among the top 16 in the 100- (56.60) and 200-yard (2:02.0) backstroke events at the Junior National meet...achieved national top-16 times in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke events...honor roll student in high school.
