2002-03 Season Outlook
A freshman from Gilbert, Ariz., Courtney Petersen will contribute in the butterfly and individual medley events for the Huskers. Petersen was born in Lincoln and lived in the capital city until she was five.

Petersen holds every school swimming record exepct the 100-yard breast at Mesquite High School...a two-time letterwinner at Mesquite in Phoenix suburb of Gilbert, Ariz...finished first at regional meet in the 100-yard fly both her junior and senior seasons...graduated among the top-15 percent of her senior class...also swam for Sun Devil Aquatic and Coach John Pontz...finished among the top five in Arizona in the 100- and 200-yard fly events.
