2001-02 Season Outlook
The top swimming recruit for NU this season, Kristen Gordon joins the Husker program by way of Plano High School in Plano, Texas. Gordon should see action in the free and backstroke events for Nebraska, and could be one of the surprises in the Big 12 Conference.

Gordon was a teammate of Susan Walker at Plano High swimming for coach Jess Cole...was a Junior National finalist in the 100-meter backstroke as well as a zone qualifier in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke, and the 50-, 100-, and 200-meter freestyle events...also was a zone finalist in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke...personal bests include: 58.09 in 100-meter back, 24.09 in the 50-meter back and 53.01 in the 100-meter free.
