A 1999 graduate of Lincoln Southeast, Ashley Peterson will be a contributor in the freestyle events for the Huskers.
Previous
Swimming under coaches Bill Florey and Dave Peters at Southeast, Peterson swam the 50-, 100-, 200- and 500-yard freestyle events and the 200-yard IM for the Knights...also a member of the 400-yard free relay...swam for Nebraska Aquatics under Husker assistant Doug Humphrey...also participated in synchronized swimming...graduated among the top 10 percent in her class...worked as student trainer in the Nebraska athletic department from 1999 to 2001.
