Senior (1999-00)
Beth Hunsicker worked to one of her best seasons yet with her finishes at the Big 12 Championships. In the 500 free, she achieved an 11th-place finish with a time of 4:56.19. In the 1,650 free, she reached an eighth-place finish in a time of 17:04.17.
Junior (1998-99)
Hunsicker was among the team leaders in the distance freestyle events, swimming to a seventh-place finish in the 1,650 free at the Big 12 Championships (17:11.99). She also qualified for the consolation finals in both the 200 and 500 freestyle events at the Big 12 meet, finishing 14th (1:53.18) and 11th (4:58.50), respectively. She was also the runner-up in the 200 free as NU defeated Iowa State and Kansas. She posted third-place finishes in the 1,000 free against Southern Methodist and Minnesota. At the Big 12 Invite, she placed sixth in the 1,650 free at the Texas Invite.
Sophomore (1997-98)
Hunsicker set career bests in three events at the conference championships, finishing ninth in the 1,650 free (17:30.58), 11th in the 500 free (5:01.07) and 12th in the 200 free (1:52.25). She was in 13th in the 1,650 free at the Texas Invite (17:45.65). She earned a victory in the 500 (5:08.45) and was the runner-up in the 200 free (1:55.52) against Iowa State.
Freshman (1996-97)
Hunsicker swam in exhibition heats at the Big 12 meet for her first appearance. She notched season-best times throughout the season, with two coming from the Big 12 meet (1,650 free, 17:40.86; 200 free, 1:55.06), two from a dual over Kansas (500 free, 5:05.48; 100 fly, 59.69) and one from the dual over Iowa State (1,000 free, 10:36.35). From her season-best swim in the 1,000 free against Iowa State, Hunsicker reached the brightest point of the season, marking that as a victory swim and adding a title in the 500 free (5:11.67).
Before Nebraska
Hunsicker set four high school swim records at Ottumwa High and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a first-team all-state and academic all-state member in 1995, as well as a second-team all-state member from 1992 to 1994. She received the Iowa Top Five Award for work with the Ottumwa Swim Club.

Beth was born on September 8, 1977, to Eldon and Janelle Hunsicker.
