  Senior (1996-97)
  As a member of the tenth-place 800 free relay team at the NCAA Championships, BriAnna Wilkins helped her team to honorable-mention All-American honors, where the team hit a time of 7:21.44. Excelling in the distance freestyle events, Wilkins took a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle at the conference championships. At the inaugural Big 12 Championships, Wilkins boosted a third-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 17:02.67 to help the Huskers to a conference title. Wilkins' 800 free relay team captured a conference gold with a time of 7:19.28. 
  
  Junior (1995-96)
  As a member of her third consecutive national team, Wilkins earned honorable-mention All-America honors as a member of the 800 freestyle relay. She earned a gold medal at the conference championships in the 200. 500 and 1,650 freestyles. In dual meet performances, she notched seven victories (three in the 1,000 free and two each in the 200 free, 200 IM and 400 IM). She was a first-team academic all-conference pick. She was also one of three team representatives on the student-athlete advisory board. 
  
  Sophomore (1994-95)
  Was an honorable-mention All-American as a member of the 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle relays, helping the Huskers to a ninth-place finish overall at the NCAA Championships. In addition to the 400 and 800 free relays, she finished 41st in the 200 free (1:51.40) and 49th in the 500 freestyle (4:57.85). She was a conference 1,650 freestyle champion, recording a time of 16:56.27. She earned another conference gold as a member of the 800 freestyle relay (7:25.54).
  
  Freshman (1993-94)
  Wilkins qualified for the NCAA meet in four events (1,650 free, 500 free, 400 IM, 800 free relay) as a freshman. She was the conference champion in the 1,650 freestyle and a runner-up in the 500 free and 400 IM. She made the U.S. Olympic trial cut. She earned six different spots on the Nebraska all-time top five charts (including relays). 
  
  Before Nebraska
  Wilkins was a member of the Lincoln All-City Team from 1990-93 and was the honorary captain for her final three years. She was a state meet champion in the 500 freestyle in 1991, 1992 and 1993. She was the 200 IM champion in 1992 and 1993. She was voted the outstanding swimmer at the state meet during her junior and senior seasons.
  
  Personal
  BriAnna was born on Sept. 24, 1975, to Don and Deb Wilkins. BriAnna's daughter Jenna Gogel now swims at Nebraska as well.
