  Laurel Hill earned a letter for the four years she competed for the Nebraska women's swimming and diving team. Helping the team finish second at the 1992 Big Eight Championships, Hill eclipsed a sixth-place finish in the 400 IM (4:34.38) and a seventh-place performance in the 200 fly (2:09.78). The team amassed a total score of 586.
