  Freshman (1996-97)
  Trisha Brandenburg earned a letter in her first year for her efforts to the Nebraska swimming and diving team. The team won the 1997 Big 12 Championships with a total of 927 points.
  
  Before Nebraska
  A highly successful graduate of Anoka High School, Brandenburg was an all-state selection in 1992, 1993 and 1995 and was voted all-conference in 1992, 1993 and 1995. Brandenburg finished second overall on the one-meter board at the state championships in 1995. Shr was a conference champion in 1994 and finished second in 1995. A National Honor Society member, Brandenburg also competed for the Twin City Divers and ABC Diving club teams.
