Sophomore (1996-97)
T.D. Rowe posted a pair of fifth-place finishes at the inaugural Big 12 Championships in College Station, Texas. Both performances marked the highest score on the team in the respective events for the year. On the one-meter board, Rowe hit a score of 388.15. In the three-meter competition, Rowe took the fifth-place spot with a score of 490.10. Qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row, Rowe put a best finish on the one-meter springboard with a score of 353.40 and 22nd-place. On the three-meter board, Rowe captured 28th place with a score of 403.65 as the sole diver to qualify for Nationals.
Freshman (1995-96)
The Huskers' Most Outstanding Female Diver last season, Rowe finished as a runner-up at the Big Eight Championships and became the first female Husker diver to qualify for the NCAA Championships since Amy Aarsen in 1991. She was a silver medalist in both diving events at the Big Eight Championships (one-meter, 422.40; three-meter, 523.25). She earned one of nine NCAA bids available from Nebraska's zone by finishing fourth on the one-meter board (376.90) and sixth on the three-meter (437.80) at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., March 15 and 16. She missed an honorable-mention All-America performance by three places at the NCAA Championships, as she posted a 19th-place finish on the three-meter board (421.50). She also finished 29th on the one-meter board with a score of 323.80. She claimed ten total victories on the one- and three-meter boards combined (seven one-meter, three three-meter) during the season. Against Minnesota, she had a top dual performance on the one-meter with a score of 303.225. Her best three-meter dual meet effort was posted against Kansas with a 298.95. At the All-American Diving Championships in Austin, Texas, she placed ninth in one-meter competition and 11th on the three-meter board. She finished 14th on the one-meter board at the U.S. National Championships in Oxford, Ohio, in mid-April.
Before Nebraska
A 1994 and 1995 state champion, Rowe attended Liberty High School in Issaquah, Wash., a suburb of Seattle. She lettered four times in swimming and diving.
