    Senior (1990-91)
    Mindy Mantheny earned honorable-mention All-America honors at the NCAA Championships in the 200 free relay on the 16th-place team. The team won the Big Eight Championships with a total score of 684.5. 

    Junior (1989-90)
    At her third Big Eight meet, Mantheny placed second in the 100 freestyle, third in the 100 backstroke and fourth in the 50 freestyle. She was first-team academic All-Big Eight. 

    Sophomore (1988-89)
    Mantheny earned All-America honors as a member of the Huskers' NCAA meet 400 medley relay. She also earned academic All-Big Eight honors. She finished second in the 100 back and fourth in the 50 free at conference. 

    Freshman (1987-88)
    Mantheny was the Huskers' lead scorer at the Big Eight meet with 38 points, carried by her title in the 50 free (23.66). She also added a third-place finish in the 100 free and a fifth-place finish in the 100 back. She earned honorable-mention All-America honors on the 200 medley relay team that placed 14th at the NCAA Championships. 

    Before Nebraska
    Matheny competed in the 1987 U.S. Olympic Sports Festival. She was a three-time Arkansas state champ in the 50 free and 100 back.

    Mindy was born on Aug. 20, 1969, to Jim and Robin Matheny.
