  Senior (1997-98)
  Mandy Hunter-Beckinsall added several times at the Big 12 Championships for her final year with Nebraska. She put up a time of 5:0710 in the 500 free for a 22nd-place finish. In the 100 breast, Hunter-Beckinsall finished in 25th with a 1:56.60. 
  
  Junior (1996-97)
  Hunter-Beckinsall improved her times nearly every meet, peaking at the Big 12 Championships, swimming exhibition. Her season-best times were posted at the Big 12 meet: 200 free (1:53.56), 500 free (5:05.16), 100 free (53.43). her top finishes included a runner-up effort in the 200 free (1:56.93) against Iowa State, a third-place finish in the 500 free (5:19.82) against Colorado State and a fourth-place showing versus Iowa State in the 100 free (55.71). She put together a solid season of top-ten finishes in dual meet action. 
  
  Sophomore (1995-96)
  Earning her first All-American efforts, Hunter-Beckinsall helped the 400 free relay team to a 12th-place finish (3:25.38) and aided the 200 free relay team to a 14th-place showing (1:34.83) at the NCAA Championships. She earned gold as a member of the 400 free relay team of Julia Russell, Shannon Wright and Melanie Dodd at the Big Eight Conference Championships. The quadtet posted a time of 3:23.73. She also claimed three individual top-five finishes at the Big Eight Championships with career best times (100 free, fourth, 51.67; 200 free, fourth, 1:50.79; 500 free, fifth, 5:01.42). She competed at the South African Trials, claiming two top-five finishes and two more top-ten performances (200-meter free relay, second, 1:47.98; 400-meter free relay, second, 3:56.67; 200-meter free, eighth, 2:08.33; 100-meter free, 10th, 58.99).
  
  Freshman (1994-95)
  The first-year South African competed well in Oklahoma City at the Big Eight meet, recording a season-best time of 1:53.65 in the 200 free, which netted a fourth-place finish. She earned her first letter as a Husker, posting the fifth-best team time in the 50 free for the season. 
  
  Before Nebraska
  Hunter-Beckinsall competed in the South African Nationals in 1991, claiming second place in the 50-meter freestyle. She also qualified for the Commonwealth Games.

  Mandy was born to Christopher and Jennifer Hunter-Beckinsall on Oct. 16, 1974.
