Kristen Neuenfeldt Season 1990-91

Honors & Awards

• All-American (1989, 400 Medley Relay)
• Four Letters (1988, 1989, 1990, 1991)
  
  Senior (1990-91)
  Kristen Neuenfeldt earned a letter for her participation in her final year for the Nebraska swimming and diving team. 
  
  Junior (1989-90)
  Won the 200 freestyle, finished second in the 200 IM and third in the 200 breast at the Big Eight Championships. She was a first-team academic All-Big Eight. 
  
  Sophomore (1988-89)
  In her second year, she won five of seven races at the Dual Meet National Championships. She was an NCAA All-America member of the Huskers' 400 medley relay team. She finished second in both the 200 and 400 IM at the Big Eight Championships. She also added a third-place finish in the 200 breast for a total of 38 Big Eight points. She had 12 first-place finishes for the Huskers in dual meet events. 
  
  Freshman (1987-88)
  Neunfeldt was the 200 IM champion at the Husker Invitational. She finished third in the 200 IM at the Big Eight Championships on her way to scoring 33 points. She finished fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free at the Big Eight meet. She was a member of NU's Big Eight Champion 400 free relay team. 
  
  Before Nebraska
  Neunefeldt was NU's first-ever true IM recruit. She was a former NJO/West champion in the 200 IM. She was also the Minnesota state champion in the 100 free and runner-up in the 200 free as a senior.

  Kristen was born on Oct. 13, 1968, to Jim and Marcia Nuenfeldt.
