Katie Luellen Season 1994-95

  Senior (1994-95)
  In her final year as a Husker, Katie Luellen found success in the 100 freestyle at the Big Eight Championships, where she hit a sixth-place finish in a time of 51.65. Luellen also qualified in the 50 and 100 freestyle at the NCAA Championships. 
  
  Junior (1993-94)
  Luellen earned All-America honors by qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 400 free relay and the 100 freestyle. She continued to improve in the 50 and 100 freestyles, setting new career best marks in both. 
  
  Before Nebraska
  Luellen was coached by Docker Hartfield at Swim Omaha while she attended Norfolk High School. She finished first and third in the 50 and 100 freestyle events, respectively, at the 1990 Nebraska state meet. The following year, she was second and third in the same events, respectively. She is also a former qualifier for YMCA and Junior Nationals competitions.
