Before Nebraska
Brown comes to Nebraska from Louisville, Ky., as a swimmer in primarily the 200 butterfly and 200 freestyle. She attended duPont Manual High School, where she placed second in the 200 freestyle and fifth in the 200 butterfly at the 2023 KHSSA Championships. In 2022, she earned a fourth-place finish in the 200 free and fifth in the 100 fly. She placed fourth in the 200 free and eighth in the 100 fly in 2021 and fifth in the 200 free and eighth in the 100 fly in 2020.

Personal
The daughter of Dan and Angela Brown, Jenna was born on Aug. 17, 2005. She has one brother, Jackson. Jenna is on the pre-medicine track at Nebraska and earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for Fall 2023. She was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2024 for her service in the Lincoln community. In her free time, Jenna enjoys reading and spending time with friends.

“I chose Nebraska because I felt like Nebraska was the best fit for me, because it will continue to challenge me academically and athletically, while providing a great atmosphere for an amazing college experience," Brown said.
