Honors & Awards

• Three-Time All-American (1994-95-96)
• Two-Time Big Eight Conference Champion (500 Freestyle and 1,650 Freestyle, 1996)
  
  Senior (1995-96)
  Heather Park qualified for the 500 freestyle (48th, 4:59.17) and the 400 IM (28th, 4:28.92) at the NCAA Championships. She also helped the 800 free relay team to a 15th-place finish for honorable-mention All-America in a time of 7:28.66 at nationals. Park swept the 500 free (4:50.30, Big Eight meet record) and the 1,650 free (16:49.56) at her final conference championships. Park also took a runner-up finish in the 400 IM in a time of 4:20.51. 
  
  Junior (1994-95)
  Park was an NCAA qualifier in the 500 free (51st), 400 IM (36th) and 800 free relay (12th). At the conference meet, Park posted a third-place finish in the 500 free and a fourth-place finish in the 1,650 free.
  
  Sophomore (1993-94)
  In her first full season with the Huskers after transferring from Houston, she qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 500 and 1,650 freestyles, 400 IM and the 800 free relay. She finished in third at the Big Eight Championships in the 400 IM (4:25.73) and third in the 1,650 freestyle (16:48.49).
  
  Before Nebraska
  Park previously swam for the Houston Cougars. She earned full honors (colors) during high school in South Africa.
