  Elizabeth Rieke earned a letter for her second-year contributions to the Nebraska swimming and diving team.

  Rieke recorded a season-best time in the 50-yard freestyle at the Big 12 Championships by finishing 37th with a time of 26.03. 
  
  Before Nebraska
  Swimming for Nebraska Aquatics, Rieke was named to the all-city swim team in 1998. She placed 10th in the 100-yard freestyle at the 1999 Nebraska State Championships
