Junior (1995-96)
Carrie Pool took sixth-place at the Big Eight Conference Championships. She clocked a time of 17:23.80 to earn a near top-five finish. She also competed in the 400 IM, where she hit a time of 4:38.77 for a tenth-place finish.
Sophomore (1994-95)
Pool swam exhibition at the conference meet. She recorded personal season-best times of 4:39.28 in the 400 IM and 17:38.78 in the 1,650 freestyle.
Freshman (1993-94)
Finished strong in the conference meet with two top-ten finishes in the 400 IM (eighth, 4:38.69) and 1,650 freestyle (seventh, 17:30.13).
Before Nebraska
Pool set Oregon state high school records in the 1,500 freestyle. Her swimming honors include winning the good sportsmanship medal in 1992, being team captain in 1991 and being voted most valuable swimmer in 1990. She was a USS team member for the Mt. Hood Swim Team. She was also a former Junior National Competitor.

Carrie was born on Oct. 31, 1974, to her mother, Sandy Pool.
