2021 (Senior)
Natalie Cooke played in 14 games and amassed 203 minutes. She recorded one assist on the season in the Huskers’ matchup against Loyola Chicago on Sept. 5. Cooke tallied three shots, one of which was on goal. She played a season-high 28 minutes against Wisconsin at home on Oct. 17.

2020-21 (Junior)
Cooke played in all 10 games of the season and started four of the team’s last five games of the season. She saw most of her minutes in the second half of the season, playing more than 70 minutes in the five of the last six games and playing a season-high 107 minutes against Rutgers (March 25). Cooke recorded her fifth career point with an assist in the Illinois (March 19) game. She took eight shots and two shots on goal in 538 minutes of action.

2019

Cooke played 37 minutes in the season opener at Kansas on Aug. 22 and took one shot. She missed the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

2018 (Sophomore)

Cooke played in 20 of 21 games, including two starts, for a total of 772 minutes. She tallied one goal and two assists on 10 shots, five of which were shots on goal. Cooke scored her first career goal on Aug. 24 against Oregon when she found the back of the net in the 60th minute. She added assists against NC State (Sept. 9) and Indiana (Sept. 20). Cooke played her most minutes in the last two games of the season, recording 88 and 71 minutes during NU's two matches at the Big Ten Tournament. The Huskers managed a 9-7-5 record overall and went 5-3-3 in the Big Ten to tie for fifth in the standings.

2017 (Freshman)

Cooke played in 17 of 19 games, and made one start, during her first year at Nebraska. Cooke took 10 shots (five shots on goal) in 313 minutes of action for the Big Red in 2017. On four occasions, she played 30 minutes or more, including a season-high 43-minute outing against Montana on Sept. 3.

High School

Cooke was named the Top Female Athlete at Richmond Secondary School in British Columbia in 2016 and 2017. She was also named Top PE Student from 2012 to 2016. In addition to soccer, Cooke played basketball and volleyball, earning the second-team all-star award in 2016 for basketball.

Personal Information

Natalie is the daughter of Dan and Joanne Cooke, and was born on Feb. 23, 1999. She has one sister, Erin, and one brother, Emerson. A nutrition and health sciences major, Natalie earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2021.
