2021 (Junior)
Kathleen Aitchison started eight of her 16 appearances for a total of 811 minutes in 2021. She recorded two shots, one of which was a shot on goal. Aitchison played a season-high 110 minutes in the double-overtime tie against Michigan State at home on Sept. 30. She made five-straight starts through the end of September and into October.
2020-21 (Sophomore)
Aitchison started all 10 games in 2020-21, amassing 826 minutes for Nebraska. Playing over 80 minutes in seven games, she played the entire double-overtime game against Minnesota (Feb. 21) and never saw less than 50 minutes of action in a match. Aitchison added a shot in the season opener against Minnesota.
2019 (Freshman)
Aitchison played in 16 games, including four starts, for a total of 507 minutes. She took one shot on goal. Aitchison played 45 or more minutes on five occasions, including a season-high 60 minutes at Iowa on Oct. 3.
High School
Aitchison joined the Huskers from Little Flower Academy in Vancouver, B.C., where she played under Coach Sue Bryde. In 2018-19, Aitchison earned TSS Youth Female Player of the Year and LFA Soccer MVP of the Year. In 2017, Aitchison earned Most Outstanding Player when she helped the team to an eighth-place finish at the Girls AA High School Provincial Championships. An honour roll student during all four years, Aitchison earned the class scholarship bronze medal (awarded to the student with the highest average from each class) in social studies, French, physical education, physics and chemistry. She earned the class scholarship gold medal for highest overall average in 11th grade during the 2017-18 academic year. Aitchison also played basketball and competed for the cross country and track and field teams at Little Flower Academy.
Other Information
Aitchison played club soccer for TSS Black under Coach Brendan Quarry. She helped the team to a first-place finish in the Metro Women’s Soccer League in 2017.
Personal Information
Kathleen is the daughter of Marcey and Raymond Aitchison, and was born on July 3, 2001. She has one brother, Euan. Kathleen is majoring in psychology.
