2021 (Senior)
Kate Leachman played in 13 games for a total of 205 minutes in 2021. She recorded one assist in the regular season opener against Western Illinois on Aug. 19. After seeing action in four non-conference games, Leachman appeared in nine Big Ten matches, including one start against Michigan on Oct. 10 when she played a season-high 45 minutes.

2020-21 (Junior)
Saw action in the game against Michigan (March 7), playing six minutes.

2019 (Sophomore)
Kate Leachman played in 11 games for a total of 147 minutes in 2019 and took three shots, one of which was on goal. Leachman saw a season-high 35 minutes of action during the season opener on Aug. 22 at Kansas. After playing three of seven non-conference matches, she appeared in eight of 11 Big Ten contests. She played 22 minutes at Michigan on Oct. 6, her longest appearance during conference play.

2018 (Redshirt)
Leachman redshirted for the Huskers in 2018. NU produced a 9-7-5 mark overall.

Before Nebraska (Idaho State)
Leachman spent her first season of college soccer at Idaho State, playing under Coach Allison Gibson. Leachman started 13 of her 17 appearances in 2017 and logged 1,019 minutes. A Big Sky All-Academic selection, Leachman scored one goal and tallied two assists, tied for the most on the team in 2017.

High School
Leachman played high school soccer at Douglas County in Castle Rock, Colo., under Coach Shailer Thomas. The team made three playoff appearances in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Leachman garnered first-team all-conference accolades in 2017 after making the second team in 2015. She earned honorable-mention recognition in 2014 and 2016. A four-time academic all-conference selection, Leachman was named player of the game four times during her senior season in 2017. An AP Scholar and National Honor Society member, Leachman also competed for the track team at Douglas County. She was a part of the school-record setting 4x100 relay team and made three state championship appearances.

Leachman played club soccer for Colorado Storm ECNL under Coach Dave Kunitz.

Personal Information
Kate is the daughter of Al and Shelley Leachman, and was born on Nov. 17, 1998. She has two sisters, Kara and Kelli, and one brother, Marc. A supply chain management major, Kate earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2022.
