2021 (Senior)
Hannah Young was injured and missed the 2021 season.

2020-21 (Junior)
Young played in eight of the Huskers’ 10 games in 2020-21, amassing 141 minutes of action. She played a season-high 36 minutes against Michigan State (Feb. 25). She took three shots, with two on goal.

2019 (Sophomore)
After sitting out each of the first seven games, Young played in each of the final 11 games, making four starts, and compiled 401 minutes. She took five shots, one of which was on goal. Young played at least 45 minutes in four games, including a season-high 72-minute effort against Maryland on Oct. 11. 

2018 (Freshman)
Young started five of her 17 appearances and compiled 513 minutes during her first year with the Huskers. After sitting out each of the first three games, Young played in 17 of the last 18 contests, registering 60 or more minutes on five occasions. She took three shots (one shot on goal) to help NU to a 9-7-5 record and a tie for fifth in the Big Ten at 5-3-3.

High School
Young attended East Pennsboro in Enola, Pa., where she played high school soccer under Coach Matt Uhrich. During her four-year career at the school, Young scored 76 goals and tallied 48 assists for 200 points, the most by any boy or girl in school history. During each of her last two seasons, she earned conference player-of-the-year honors, Mid Penn Capital Division Player-of-the-Year accolades and served as the team captain. In 2017, she scored 25 goals and recorded 24 assists to help the team to a 23-2 record and a trip to the state quarterfinals. Individually, Young achieved all-state and all-region status, while being named Pennlive Girls Soccer Player of the Year. In 2016, Young scored 19 goals and 12 assists to help East Pennsboro to a 19-3 record and a trip to the state tournament. She made the all-state team and earned All-Sentinel first-team honors and Pennlive first-team All-Star status. In 2015, Young scored 17 goals and seven assists as her team made the District 3 quarterfinals with a 12-7-1 record. She earned first-team All-Star honors in the Mid Penn Capital Division. In 2014, she scored 15 goals and five assists as the team went 13-6 en route to qualifying for the District 3 Tournament. She was named a Mid Penn Capital Division second-team All-Star. A member of the National Honor Society, Young ranked No. 1 academically in the class of 2018.

Other Information
Young played club soccer for HMMS Eagle FC Villa ’99 under Coach Chris Fox. Young served as the team captain and helped the team capture the 2017 EDP Cup Spring Showcase title. In 2016, the team finished first in the Region I Champions League after winning the Jefferson Cup and Disney Showcase crown in 2015.

Personal Information
Hannah is the daughter of Jim and Vicky Young, and was born on Oct. 31, 1999. Hannah has one sister, Lindsay, and one brother, Chris. A nutrition and health sciences major, Hannah earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2022.
