2019 (Senior)
Aubrei Corder climbed into the top five of several Nebraska career goalkeeping records lists and concluded her career as the program leader in career minutes in goal (7,604), games started (80) and games played by a goalkeeper (80). She also finished her career ranked second in career saves (249), second in career shutouts (27.2) and tied for fourth in career wins (33). During the 2019 season, Corder started all 18 games and led the team in minutes played (1,681). In 16 of Nebraska's 18 games, Corder played the full time. She compiled 62 saves and recorded four shutouts, while giving up 23 goals. On Oct. 3 at Iowa, Corder tallied a season-high seven saves and then matched that total in her subsequent appearance at Michigan on Oct. 6. Corder's season-long scoreless minutes streak was 215:52, which spanned from Sept. 20 to 26.
2018 (Junior)
Corder started all 21 games and led the team in minutes played with 1970:44 (of a possible 1992:51). Corder earned 56 saves and tallied five complete-game shutouts, while contributing 82 minutes to an additional Husker shutout. She collected a career-high nine saves in Nebraska's 1-0 road win over No. 24 Penn State on Sept. 27. During the season, Corder allowed 28 goals and had a season-long consecutive scoreless minutes streak of 269:22, which spanned from Oct. 21 to Nov. 2. Corder managed six saves on three separate occasions, including NU's road win over 13th-ranked NC State (Sept. 9) and the Big Ten quarterfinal match against Ohio State (Oct. 28). In fact, Corder knocked away three additional Buckeye attempts during the penalty kick shootout to help the Huskers advance to the semifinals of the conference tournament.
On Aug. 26, Corder earned her first career assist when her kick found Meg Brandt, who scored in the 20th minute of NU's victory over Oregon State. Corder was named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week on two occasions in 2018, taking home the award on Sept. 18 and Oct. 2.
2017 (Sophomore)
Corder started all 19 games and played nearly every minute (1842:15 of a possible 1847:18) during her second season at Nebraska. Corder collected 53 saves and recorded seven complete-game shutouts, while contributing 85 minutes in an additional Husker shutout. She allowed 13 goals on the season to help NU to a 9-5-5 record overall. Her season high of six saves came on Sept. 29 at Michigan State, and she had a pair of five-save efforts in Big Ten play. On Sept. 24, Corder became the ninth Husker goalkeeper to reach 100 career saves when she saved a shot in the closing seconds of a tie against No. 7 Penn State. Corder shut out three of NU's first four opponents, and had a season-long scoreless minutes streak of 307:35 that spanned from Aug. 20 to Sept. 1. In all, she compiled a goals against average of 0.64 during the 2017 campaign.
2016 (Freshman)
Corder played every minute in goal (2109:35) for the Huskers as a true freshman, helping Nebraska make the NCAA Tournament with an 11-6-5 record. She collected 78 saves, while allowing 20 goals, leading to a 0.85 goals against average during the 2016 campaign. Corder recorded 11 shutouts, amassing a scoreless streak of more than 623 minutes that spanned from Oct. 9 to Nov. 18. She achieved her season high of seven saves against Kansas, Rutgers and Northwestern.
After allowing one goal in her Husker debut against Marquette on Aug. 19, Corder earned a shutout victory in her second career game at then-No. 16 BYU on Aug. 22. The win marked the 300th in Husker history, and snapped the nation's longest home winning streak (18).
Corder earned Big Ten weekly awards on three occasions, and attended the U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team Training Camp after the season. On Oct. 18, Corder earned Big Ten Freshman-of-the-Week honors after shutouts against Illinois and then-No. 22 Northwestern. The following week, on Oct. 25, she collected two Big Ten weekly awards as the Freshman of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week after a shutout at Rutgers.
High School
Corder was home schooled and enrolled at the University of Nebraska in January 2016.
Other Information
Corder played club soccer for Ohio Premier ECNL under Coach Alan Yost. She attended Id2 ECNL camp, Big Red Soccer Camp, University of Kentucky Camp and Beyond the Post Goalkeeper Academy.
Personal Information
Aubrei is the daughter of Bob and Becky Corder and was born on Feb. 28, 1998. She has two brothers, Brian and Ben. Aubrei majored in communication studies and earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December 2019. A two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar (2018, 2019) and three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection (2017, 2018, 2019), she is also a seven-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Aubrei attended the U.S. U-19 Women's National Team Training Camp in January 2017.
