2018 (Senior)
Faith Carter, who started 20 of her 21 appearances in 2018, scored a team-high nine goals (fourth-most in the Big Ten) en route to second-team All-Big Ten honors. Carter, who added two assists, tallied 20 points, tied for the most on the team with Savanah Uveges and sixth-most in the conference. Carter's three game-winning goals also tied for the team high and shared fifth place in the Big Ten. Carter also led the Husker offense in shots (41) and shots on goal (19). After scoring her first two goals of the season against BYU (Aug. 20) and No. 14 Duke (Sept. 6), Carter netted the game winner in the 47th minute of NU's road triumph over 13th-ranked NC State on Sept. 9. She produced a three-point effort during the overtime match against Maryland on Sept. 16, recording an assist in the 63rd minute before scoring the game-winning goal in the 92nd minute.

On Sept. 20, Nebraska trailed 3-1 against Indiana with less than 15 minutes remaining in regulation before Carter and the Huskers stormed back for a 4-3 overtime win. Carter netted goals in the 76th and 83rd minutes to tie the match before scoring the game winner in the 91st minute to stun the Hoosiers and record the 34th hat trick in program history. She earned Big Ten Offensive Player-of-the-Week pundits for her performance. On Sept. 30, Carter scored NU's lone goal in a 1-1 tie at Ohio State. She added one goal against Illinois (Oct. 21) and one assist against Michigan State (Oct. 24).

2017 (Junior)
Carter made six appearances for a total of 83 minutes during her first season at Nebraska. Carter took two shots, one of which was on goal. Her season high of 23 minutes came against Pittsburgh on Sept. 10. She played in four conference games.

Before Nebraska (TCU)
Carter joined the Huskers after spending two seasons at Texas Christian University under Coach Eric Bell. In 2016, she made 21 appearances and helped the Horned Frogs to an NCAA Tournament appearance. Carter scored seven goals, the second-most on the team, and tallied two assists. As a freshman in 2015, Carter played in all 19 games, and made seven starts. She scored three goals and added two assists. On Sept. 8, she was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week after TCU defeated Maryland and Oral Roberts.

High School
Carter played at Omaha Marian under Coach Ed Dudley, where she helped the team to a pair of state titles (2012, 2014) and a state runner-up finish in 2015. Over the span of her high school career, Carter scored 50 goals and was inducted into the Nebraska High School Black Sports Hall of Fame in 2015. She earned first-team all-state honors in 2014 after making the second team as a freshman and sophomore.

Carter played club soccer for Elite Girls Academy under Coach Marcus Kelcher.

Personal Information
Faith is the daughter of Randy and Georgia Carter, and was born on Sept. 2, 1997. She has one sister, Ashley, and two brothers, Randal and Jonathan. Ashley played for the Nebraska soccer team in 2003. Faith is majoring in global studies and is a two-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. She was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017 and 2018.
