2015 (Sophomore)
Erika Johnson started all 17 games at goal and collected 70 saves, while allowing 25 goals. Johnson posted six shutouts during the season and saw 1,544 minutes of action in total. Against No. 12 Penn State on Sept. 25, Johnson managed six saves in 110 minutes of action and allowed one goal. She added seven saves in a shutout of Ohio State two days later. Following the weekend performance, she was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week and earned a spot on CollegeSoccer360.com's Primetime Performer of the Week list. Johnson's most saves in a game was eight against Missouri on Sept. 13.

2014 (Freshman)
Johnson saw action in two games for a total of 57 minutes and completed clean sheets in both. She logged in 42 minutes and earned one save against North Dakota on Sept. 7. Johnson made one Big Ten appearance, playing 15 minutes in Nebraska's 3-0 win over Indiana on Oct. 19. 

High School
Johnson was an all-conference, three-sport athlete at Mounds View where she captained the soccer, basketball and lacrosse squads. She earned a total of 12 varsity letters during her high school career as one of Mounds View's "3 x 4" Award winners. In addition, she was named Mounds View's 2014 Female Student-Athlete of the Year. On the pitch, Johnson’s squad went 18-1 in 2013 and won the 5AA Section title, SEC Conference title and was ranked No. 1 in the state under Coach Terri Patraw. Johnson was an all-state performer on her way to being named to the Minneapolis Star Tribune all-metro team and the St. Paul Pioneer Press all-east metro team, while also earning nomination for Minnesota's Gatorade Player of the Year. Johnson amassed a 95 percent save rate in 2013 along with a 0.41 goals-against average. Academically, she earned National Honor Society recognition, the NSCAA Senior Excellence Award and four Mounds View academic awards.

Other Information
During the club season, Johnson played for the Dakota Rev under Coach Taylor Rasmussen.

Personal Information
Erika is the daughter of Brian and Carole Johnson and was born on March 8, 1996. She has one sister, Kiersten. Johnson is majoring in nutrition, exercise and health science and is a three-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. In addition, Johnson was named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team in 2015.
