Former Husker Anna (White) Trent enters her third season as a volunteer coach in 2016 after completing a four-year career in 2010.
Following her graduation from Nebraska in May 2011, Trent joined the Fellowship of Christian Athletes staff and currently mentors student-athletes at the University of Nebraska through FCA. She also served as head coach of Lincoln Southeast High School’s girl’s soccer team from 2012 to 2014 and was a coach for the Olympic Development Program for U.S. Youth Soccer in 2014.
A Warrensburg, Mo. native, Trent started 65 games and made 77 appearances as a midfielder for the Huskers, scoring two goals and providing strong defensive assistance from the midfield.
An eight-semester Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll member, Trent earned her degree in child, youth and family studies. She and her husband Robbie were married in 2011.
