2014 (Freshman)
Hannah Schafers played in two games on defense for a total of 22 minutes in her first year at Nebraska. She helped the Huskers to shutout victories against SMU and North Dakota during the non-conference slate. 

High School
Schafers was a first team all-state honoree at Lincoln Pius X under Coach John Colborn. Schafers was a vital component of a Pius X squad that finished as Nebraska state semifinalists in both 2012 and 2013. She achieved National Honor Society and academic all-state accolades throughout her prep career, while also competing with the state runner-up cross country team in 2010.

Other Information
During the club season, Schafers played for Gretna Prima under Coach Doug Trenerry. She was part of the Prima team that won the U-18 Nebraska State Championship in 2013.

Personal Information
Hannah is the daughter of Eric and Angie Schafers and was born on March 2, 1996. She has two brothers, Alec and Jack, and one sister, Madison. Hannah plans to major in architecture and is a two-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She also earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2015.
