2014 (Senior)
Hannah Dittmar started in 12 of her 15 appearances in 2014 and averaged 62 minutes a game. Her lone assist came in the sixth minute against Oklahoma on Sept. 5. The pass to Katie Kraeutner gave the Huskers an early 1-0 lead in the contest.
Dittmar took three shots during the season and provided senior leadership for the team throughout the year.
2013 (Junior)
Dittmar appeared in all 24 matches for the Huskers, providing leadership and important minutes off the bench for Nebraska on her way to averaging nearly 30 minutes per game.
Dittmar notched her first point of the year when she set up freshman Sydney Miramontez for her first career goal and ultimately the game-winner in NU's 4-1 victory over Cincinnati at the Nebraska Soccer Field on Aug. 25.
Dittmar earned her third career assist on Jordan Jackson's 27th career tally that gave Nebraska a 2-0 lead heading into the break, as the Huskers battled to a 2-2 tie at Utah State on Sept. 2.
Dittmar recorded her first goal of 2013 and her third career score to tie up the game in the 81st minute against Arkansas on Sept. 8. Dittmar notched four shots on the day as the Huskers dropped a hard-fought 2-1 decision to the Razorbacks in double overtime.
In the classroom, Dittmar earned academic All-Big Ten honors for the third consecutive season. She was also named the recipient of the 2013 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award and claimed a prestigious Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award. Dittmar also earned a spot on the inaugural Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
2012 (Sophomore)
After seeing action in only three games in 2011, Dittmar played in 19 of Nebraska's 20 games in 2012, including 14 starts.
Dittmar scored her first career goal against No. 16 Virginia Tech at the Nebraska Soccer Field on Aug. 24. The goal tied the game, 1-1, but the Hokies eventually won the game in double overtime, 3-2.
Dittmar added another goal in a 4-0 home win over Southeast Missouri State on Sept. 8. She produced her first career assist two games later against Northern Colorado, as she assisted on freshman Caroline Flynn's first career goal. The game between the Huskers and Bears ended in a 1-1 tie.
At the end of the season, Dittmar was honored on the academic All-Big Ten team for the second straight season.
2011 (Redshirt Freshman)
Dittmar saw her first action as a Husker against Baylor on Aug. 21 after redshirting the 2010 season.
Dittmar helped the Huskers shut out Arkansas, 6-0, at the Nebraska Soccer Field on Sept. 2. She produced her first career shot on goal against Northern Arizona on Sept. 4.
2010 (Freshman)
Dittmar was one of two Husker freshmen to redshirt in 2010.
In the classroom, Dittmar was selected to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor during the fall and spring semesters.
High School
Dittmar was a major contributor for Coach Dave Harvey and the Gretna Dragons, producing 33 goals and 24 assists during her career.
Dittmar missed her entire junior season due to injury, but returned healthy in 2010 to help lead Gretna to a Class B state runner-up finish with 16 goals and 14 assists. A three-time EMC all-conference selection, Dittmar earned a spot on the Lincoln Journal Star Super-State team following the Dragons' 18-2 season. She was also invited to participate in the 2010 Nebraska Shrine Soccer Classic.
Dittmar was an immediate force from the time she stepped on the field as a freshman, gaining 2007 Class B all-state honorable-mention accolades. She exceeded expectations again in 2008, helping the Dragons to a state semifinal appearance while being named to the Lincoln Journal Star's all-state team.
Dittmar started every game as a freshman, sophomore and senior, helping Gretna qualify for the state tournament all three years. She was also a team captain and team MVP during her time with the Dragons.
In the classroom, she held a 3.9 grade-point average and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was also named to the academic all-state team.
Other Information
Away from the prep ranks, Dittmar was active with the Omaha Football Club's Arsenal 91-92. Under Coach Alex Mason, she was part of one Nebraska State Cup runner-up team.
Personal Information
Hannah is the daughter of Jeff and Judy Dittmar and has two younger brothers, Sam and Aaron. She was born on Feb. 24, 1992 in Lakeland, Fla. Hannah is majoring in nutrition, exercise and health science at Nebraska. She is a three-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and captured a coveted HERO Leadership Award on two occasions.
