2013 (Senior)
Emma Stevens capped off her NU career with an impressive senior campaign which saw her compile 19 victories and five complete-match shutouts as she started every match in 2013. Stevens finished the year with 94 saves along with a 1.08 goals against average and is the all-time saves leader at Nebraska with 278 stops. The Corona, Calif. native is also second in games played in net (72) and minutes (6,221), while ranking third in wins (37) and sixth in shutouts. 

Stevens set a new career high for consecutive scoreless minutes, with 293:34 minutes of scoreless work in goal over a four-game span in 2013 conference play. Aided by a strong defensive unit, Stevens allowed one goal or fewer in 17 matches as the Huskers took home a pair of Big Ten titles.

The senior leader in net made a season-high seven saves on four separate occasions, including key stops down the stretch in a vital 3-2 victory over No. 16 Penn State on Oct. 27 at the Nebraska Soccer Field. Stevens notched the game-winning assist as she made a great throw down the middle of the field to Jaycie Johnson who ran three-quarters length of the field for the emotional victory.

A historic moment occurred in a big moment for the Huskers as the blustery conditions worsened in the regular-season finale against Indiana in Lincoln. Stevens, after corralling a loose ball, sent a dropkick down the field and carried the wind just outside the opposite 18-yard box. The high bouncer evaded the Indiana goalkeeper and found the back of the net for the first score by a goalkeeper in Nebraska soccer history as NU finished off the Hoosiers for a 3-1 final score and the conference championship.

Steven received many honors throughout her successful season, including 2013 First Team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region and All-Big Ten Second Team. Stevens also received a number of weekly awards from soccer media outlets throughout the country.

2012 (Junior)
Stevens continued to climb the career charts in 2012, as she ended her junior season tied with Erin Miller for second all-time among goalkeepers at Nebraska in career games played (48), while also ranking third in career saves (184) and fourth in games started (45).

Stevens set a career high for consecutive scoreless minutes, with 204:40 minutes of scoreless work in goal over a three-game span in 2012.

Stevens notched a pair of shutouts in 2013, while also delivering 77:53 minutes of perfect play in goal against Southeast Missouri State. Amy Swearer played the final 10:07 in a 4-0 Husker win over the Redhawks.

Stevens held opponents to a goal or less nine times on the year in 19 games played.

Stevens totaled five or more saves seven times on the year, including a season-high nine stops in a 4-1 loss at Illinois on Oct. 21.

2011 (Sophomore)
Emma Stevens started all 18 games in goal for the Huskers in 2011 after starting eight games as a redshirt freshman in 2010.

Stevens produced her first career shutout in a 6-0 win over Arkansas on Sept. 2 and nearly picked up a second straight shutout two days later against Northern Arizona. She left the game against the Lumberjacks with a 6-0 lead, but the Huskers gave up a goal down the stretch in the 8-1 victory.

During a three-game stretch from Sept. 2 to Sept. 9 against Arkansas, Northern Arizona and Virginia Tech, Stevens posted a then career-high 203:39 consecutive scoreless minutes.

Stevens added her second career shutout in the Huskers' first Big Ten road game, when Nebraska beat Purdue, 3-0, in West Lafayette, Ind.

Stevens held the Iowa Hawkeyes scoreless for 98:56 in a 1-0 overtime win at the Nebraska Soccer Field on Oct. 20.

She snagged a career-high 11 saves on the road at Ohio State on Oct. 16 to help the Huskers win 3-2 in a game the Buckeyes blasted 26 shots on the afternoon.
   
2010 (Redshirt Freshman)
Stevens was in net for the Huskers in 11 games during her first season in a Nebraska uniform, including eight starts.

Stevens played all 90 minutes in Nebraska's season-opening 3-0 loss to New Mexico, but bounced back to play 21 minutes in a shutout over Loyola Chicago, 2-0, in Nebraska's next game. She also played 36 minutes in NU's 4-0 shutout of IUPUI.

Stevens started two other non-conference games and four conference contests during the year, including Nebraska's Big 12 opener against Texas. She held the Longhorns to one goal and had a then-career-high five saves in the 2-1 win to help the Huskers improve to 14-1-0 in conference openers. She improved her then-career high to seven saves two weeks later during Nebraska's 4-1 win over Iowa State.
 
2009 (Freshman)
Stevens redshirted her first season at Nebraska behind upperclass goalkeeper Tara Macdonald.

High School
After working her way onto the varsity squad as a freshman, Stevens was a force in net for Santiago High School and Coach Mike Fleming. She accumulated over 6,000 minutes in net and notched 383 saves.

As a senior, Stevens posted 121 saves while leading the Sharks to a 19-4-2 record, including 12-0-2 in conference play to claim first in their league. Stevens earned two shutouts in the state tournament, before Santiago was eliminated in the quarterfinals. She claimed 11 shutouts during the season.

During her junior campaign, Stevens led Santiago to its third state semifinal in three seasons, as the Sharks claimed a league championship with a 15-4-9 overall mark. She collected 142 saves to help her team go undefeated in league play at 7-0-1.

During her sophomore year, Santiago posted a 14-7-4 record behind 95 saves from Stevens. As a freshman, Stevens helped the Sharks advance to the state semifinals by allowing only one goal and collecting 25 saves, before Santiago fell to the eventual champions. The team claimed a 21-6-4 mark overall, and went 8-1-1 to claim its first league title.

For her efforts, Stevens was named to the all-league team three times, the all-county team twice and the all-state first team twice. She also earned second-team all-state honors as a sophomore, and was league MVP twice, while being voted captain of her high school team for three years.

In the classroom, Stevens won the scholar athlete award four times. As valedictorian of her high school class, Stevens finished with a 4.45 grade-point average and was named the Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year for her school district.

Other Information
On the club level, Stevens was the starting goalkeeper for Slammers FC for eight years. She led the team to a state title in 2007, winning the semifinal match on penalty kicks. Behind Stevens, the Slammers advanced to the semifinals or finals of the state tournament six times. The team won two prestigious Surf Cup titles, and made 11 semifinal or final appearances in the tournament. She was named player of the tournament in 2003. One of the top goalkeepers in the nation, Stevens was invited to the adidas ESPN and Nike 50 camps.

Personal Information
Emma is the daughter of Rod and Colleen Stevens, and was born Aug. 2, 1991. She has one sister, Hannah. Emma majored in political science at Nebraska and earned her bachelor's degree in December of 2012. Stevens is currently working on her master's degree. She was an academic All-Big Ten selection in 2011 and is a six-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
