Ranked as a four-star recruit by TopDrawerSoccer.com and the No. 10 player in the Heartland Region, Brooke Burris joins the Huskers from Lee's Summit North High School in Lee's Summit, Mo.

A captain for the Broncos in 2013, Burris was an all-conference performer and was a nominee for Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year. Behind Burris' 10 goals and 11 assists, the Broncos came up one game shy of qualifying for the state tournament in 2013, as they fell 1-0 to Blue Springs in the district 14 title game.

Burris helped lead Lee's Summit North to three straight Big 6 Conference titles, and the Broncos ended the 2012 season ranked as the No. 2 team in the state of Missouri by ESPNHS.

Following a pair of quarterfinal appearances in 2010 and 2011, Burris led the Broncos to a 24-3 record and a runner-up finish at the Class 3 state tournament in 2012.

While totaling 36 goals and 29 assists on the field during her career, Burris was a member of the National Honor Society in the classroom.

Other Information
During the club season, Burris has played for Richard Davies in the KC Football Club, as well as Vlatko Adonovski and Huw Williams in the Sporting Blue Valley Club. She helped KCFC to three state titles from 2008 to 2011, while also helping Sporting Blue Valley to a top three finish in the Midwest Conference.

Personal Information
Brooke is the daughter of Kirk and Sheri Burris. She was born on Sept. 7, 1994. She has three sisters, Cassie, Taylor and Halle. Brooke has not declared a major at Nebraska.
