2009 (Freshman)
Exstrom (pronouced EX-strumm) appeared in five games during the 2009 season, scoring a goal in her first collegiate contest in a 9-0 win over South Dakota on Sept. 18. She also saw action in two Big 12 games, including one shot attempt at Texas Tech. Exstrom took four total shots on the season.

High School
Exstrom was a high school teammate of current Husker Bri Badje under head coach Alyssa Watson at Southwest. A forward for the Silverhawks, the 5-6 Exstrom claimed several school records through her prep career, including season goals (26), assists (17) and points (69), while setting career records in goals (77), assists (30) and points (184).

During her senior campaign, Exstrom posted a record-setting 26 goals and four assists to lead the Silverhawks to a 14-3 mark and their second consecutive city, conference and district titles. For the second consecutive year, she earned first-team Lincoln Journal Star Super-State honors, while the Omaha World-Herald also awarded her first-team All-Nebraska accolades.

Along with fellow Husker Stacy Bartels, Exstrom was invited to the 2009 Shrine Soccer Classic, where Exstrom produced two goals and one assist.

As a junior, Exstrom helped Southwest to a 12-2 record with city, conference and district titles and an appearance in the state tournament with her 25 goals and 17 assists. She scored the second most points (67) in the state behind current Husker Molly Thomas.

Southwest went 11-4 during Exstrom's sophomore year, as she posted 15 goals and six assists. The Silverhawks claimed city, conference and district titles before falling in the first round of the state tournament. Exstrom garnered Class A first-team all-state honors and second-team Super-State recognition from the Lincoln Journal Star.

As a freshman, Exstrom notched 11 goals and five assists to help the Silverhawks finish second in the district with a 10-5 record. She earned honorable-mention Class A all-state accolades from the Lincoln Journal Star. She was also a four-time member of the all-city and all-conference teams.

In the classroom, Exstrom was a four-time Scholar Athlete award winner for Southwest and was named to the academic all-state team by the NSAA as a junior.

Other Information
Exstrom played her club ball under Coaches Andy Benkis and Alex Vasquez with the Arsenal Primo for three years, capturing state titles all three seasons. Exstrom, along with Badje, previously spent time with the Capital Soccer Association Intensity.

Personal Information
Bri is the daughter of Brad and Nancy Exstrom, and was born Oct. 18, 1990. Bri has three sisters, Whitney, Alicia and Samantha, and two brothers, Dylan and Dominik. She has not declared a major at Nebraska.

Worth Noting
Exstrom's two goals and assist at the 2009 Shrine Soccer Classic earned her MVP honors.
