2007 Season
Meghan Hungerford appeared in five games for Nebraska in 2007, helping the Huskers to a 3-1-1 record in her appearances, including a 5-1 victory over Saint Louis on Sept. 21. Hungerford closed her career as a three-time letterwinner and seven-time selection to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2006 Season
Hungerford received a medical redshirt in 2006 following an injury she sustained prior to the start of the regular season.

2005 Season
Hungerford appeared in 19 games in 2005, after seeing time in 13 games - including three postseason starts - as a freshman in 2004. She logged a conference season-high 33 minutes during a hard-fought 1-0 overtime loss at Texas on Oct. 16.

Hungerford had a career night at Oral Roberts on Oct. 14. After not recording a point in her first 24 career games, Hungerford broke out with a pair of goals while playing a season-high 63 minutes, 30 minutes more than her previous season high. The Manhattan, Kan., native also played well at Texas on Oct. 16, seeing 33 minutes of action.

Off the field, Hungerford was a first-team academic All-Big 12 selection and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.

2004 Season
Hungerford saw significant playing time in her freshman season, competing in 14 of Nebraska's 23 games. She started the first game of her career in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament, playing a career-high 71 minutes. She also started each of Nebraska's three NCAA Tournament games, playing well in a highly competitive and pressure-packed environment, including road matches against ranked teams at Kansas and Illinois.

Off the field, Hungerford was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters.

High School
A three-time all-state selection for Manhattan High School, Hungerford led her team to the state championship in each of her four seasons. Hungerford also earned all-region and all-conference honors. She finished her senior season with 64 points to lead all high school players in the state of Kansas.

Other Information
Hungerford was also a member of the Manhattan Patriots and Topeka Ballistics club teams.

Personal
Meghan was born in Wamego, Kan., on Dec. 9, 1985. She is the daughter of Mark and Susan Hungerford and has two sisters, Rawley and Liz. She will graduate in August 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science and dietetics.
