2001 Season
Lindsey Greenwood appeared in 23 games for the Huskers in the 2001 season. She added 16 shots, two of which were on goal. She recorded assists in back-to-back games against Baylor and Missouri. Greenwood also received first-team academic All-Big 12 honors.

2000 Season
Greenwood emerged during the conference season to score nine points in a four-game span (Oct. 13-22). She scored her first career goal on a penalty kick against Oklahoma State and added another goal and an assist against Colorado.

All six of Greenwood's goals came in Nebraska's final 10 games as the freshman finished with 17 points on six goals and fix assists.

She continued her tear in the Big 12 Tournament, scoring five points on two goals and an assist. Greenwood scored against Kansas and notched the game-winning goal against then-ninth-ranked Texas A&M in the Big 12 Tournament Championiship game.

In the regular season against Texas Tech, Greenwood came off the bench at 27:12 and scored back-to-back goals at 30:30 and 32:20 to give the Huskers a 2-1 lead. NU went on to win the contest, 4-1. For her efforts against Texas Tech and Colorado, Greenwood was named the Big 12 Newcome of the Week on Oct. 23. Her seven points were the most scored in a weekend by a Nebraska newcomer in 2000.

High School
Greenwood earned her second straight Gatorade Circle of Champions State Player-of-the-Year Award after scoring 77 points on 32 goals and 13 assists and leading Pleasant Valley to a 20-3 final record.

Greenwood was the Pleasant Valley Athlete of the Year and the team MVP her senior season. As a junior in 1999, Greenwood amassed 88 points on 34 goals and 20 assists to lead Pleasant Valley to an 18-1 record and a Class 4A (largest) state tournament big under Coach Cathy Allbaugh.

Greenwood was a three-time first-team all-state selection and a member of the 1998 Class 4A sate All-Tournament team after leading Pleasant Valley to a third-place finish. She also established state career scoring records with 303 points on 120 goals and 63 assists at Pleasant Valley High School.

Along with her accomplishments in soccer, Greenwood was a three-year starter as a point guard for the basketball team. She was also an honor student.

Other Information
In addition to her high school soccer experience, Greenwood led the Quad City Strikers club team under the direction of Juan Rodriguez to three State Cup titles. She led the Bettendorf Soccer club to Under-15 State Cups in 1995 and 1996. She was a member of the Olympic Development Program Region II team from 1996 through 2000 and was a state ODP player.

Personal Information
The daughter of Dave and Michele Greenwood, Lindsey has one brother, Brett, 13. She was born April 21, 1982, in Davenport, Iowa.
