2000 Season
Brooke Jones saw action in 15 games for the Huskers in 2000, racking up three goals and three assists. Two of her goals came against Arkansas-Little Rock in a 11-0 win for the Huskers.

1999 Season
Jones provided solid minutes for the Huskers as a true freshman, appearing in 16 games with five points on two goals and one assist. She scored the first goal of her career in Nebraska's 10-0 win at Oklahoma State and added a goal in NU's Big 12 Tournament win over Texas Tech. Jones added an assist in Nebraska's win over Tulsa.

High School
Jones was a two-time first-team All-Kansas forward at Olathe East High School the past two seasons. As a senior, Jones posted school single-season records with 55 points and 26 goals, while adding three assists to lead Olathe East to a state runner-up finish. She also garnered first-team All-Sunflower League and Kansas City All-Metro honors.

Jones holds Olathe East records with 149 points and 68 goals in her career. She produced 44 points on 21 goals and two assists for Coach Terry Hair as a junior to earn first-team All-Sunflower League honors and second-team All-Metro accolades as a junior. As a sophomore, Jones contributed 27 points on 11 goals and five assists after racking up 23 points on 10 goals and three assists as a freshman in 1996. Jones also participated in track and field for four yeras and was an honor roll student.

Other Information
Jones was an Alliance United club teammate of fellow Husker recruit Kori Saunders. Jones also participated in the Kansas Olympic Development Program and was selected to the regional team. She was also a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital.

Personal Information
The daughter of Gary and Debi Jones, and Tony and Gayle Plunkett, Brooke has two brothers, Ryan Jones, 22, and Brandon Richman, 22, and three sisters, Ali Plunkett, 23, Beth Plunkett, 22 and Brittany Richman, 18. She was born Oct. 29, 1980, in Liberty, Mo.
