1997 Season
Lynne Officer contributed in 14 games in the 1997 Husker campaign. She scored four points on one goal and two assists. Her only goal came in a Sept. 21 match versus Iowa State, while she notched assists against Kansas and Oklahoma State. All three games were victories for the Huskers. Officer was selected to the academic All-Big 12 first-team for the second consecutive season.
1996 Season
Officer earned first-team academic All-Big 12 honors and scored one point in 19 games. She also won the 1996 Husker Power Award. She posted an assist in Nebraska's 10-2 win over Colorado on Oct. 13.
1995 Season
Officer scored one point in 12 games as a reserve defender. She was a Big Eight Conference Academic Honor Roll member and received the Husker Team Spirit Award. Officer posted an assist in Nebraska's 8-1 win over Kansas on Sept. 22.
1994 Season

As a true freshman, Officer started at defender in 13 of 17 games, finishing with four points on two goals. Officer scored the Golden Hurricane's only goal in a 1-1 tie against Colorado College.
High School
A four-year letterwinner at Millard North, Officer led the Mustangs to the state title in 1994 and a runner-up finish in 1993. She was a first-team all-state pick as a junior and senior and the honorary captain of the 1994 Omaha World-Herald All-State Team. She played in the 1994 Nebraska Shrine Classic. She also earned two letters in cross country and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal Information
Lynne's mother is Diane Galloway and her stepfather is Lee Galloway. She has three sisters, Leigh Koch, 28, Libby, 24, and Erinn, 19, and a brother, Reise, 23. Lynne was a nutritional science and dietetics major. She was born Sept. 6, 1975.
